Hello From The White Mountains of New Hampshire

~ we are *Sheltie Mom* neighbors

*Hi* Elaine ~

I am sorta/kinda nearby.....
my husband and I are in the lakes region.

We are blessed with a pair of darling Sheltie sisters
{ we celebrated their 5th birthdays this spring }

Our little *Emily* is a gorgeous mahogany sable
and our little *Sadie* is a beautiful deep tricolor.

~ I continually search through the Conway Sun newspaper
for groups of Sheltie parents, hoping to perhaps find a Shetland
play group for our puppygirls..... wouldn't that be so much fun!?! :smile2:

I found a Breeder in Franklin New Hampshire. Fair Isle Shelties. The pups were born 2/19/08 . :yes: They are just Starting to open their eyes Bronwyn tells me. That is the Breeders name.

Fellow Sheltie lover,
Elaine

Hi Elaine- I know this is an old post but was just reading it and realized that we know the same breeder also-- small world. Our sheltie Lady (who is no longer with us) came from Bronwyn and our current male's mother was owned by Bronwyn. There aren't many breeders here- I guess that is good in that you have to work to get a sheltie pup- which hopefully means you really want and will take care of it when you get it. Many breeders in Ma are also "out of the business" or only occasional breeders. Breeding if done properly is a lot of work and I think very expensive so people burn out after awhile.

Sheltie group in NH

That would be awesome !! :smile2: I don't know how you even begin to find out about any activities going on for the breed , within the State. I'm sure someone in the group here would have some ideas or even know of events. I know Sharon goes to some agility here in New Hampshire. I don't know how frequent they are but I would like to start at least attempt to attend some. Just some fun groups would be fantastic. :cool: Heres hoping Shelti !!:winkgrin: Keep in touch OK:biggrin2:

Woof

It is very difficult to find local breeders . It's a small world isn't it. I like Bronwyn, she's a very nice person and loves her dogs. She cries everytime a pup of hers leaves. When we bought Kia she cried when we were leaving. I keep her updated with pictures of Kia. :yes: What is your males name and his coloring? I know Brownwyn does Sable and white as well as tri color. Thanks for the info and keep in touch.:biggrin2:
