Hello to all, we're new here and from Seattle

Welcome to the Forums!!
Oh you're still having the teenage phase ahead of you.. TIMES TWO :)
Of course we beg for pictures, and you got two at the same time? Pretty brave, I dare say, LOL

Just thought I'd share that there are pictures of Ollie and Baagi on Gwylliam's profile page! There is an album with some adorable pictures of both pups!

Thanks, Ashley!

I loooove Ollie's coloring! It reminds me a little of an Aussie, but is so beautiful! They are quite a stunning pair.

Welcome! I love their names. I see I am not the only crazy one to have two puppies at once. It will be twice the fun! :smile2:

Pictures of Ollie and Baagi

If you look in the Albums area, look for an album titled "The boys". Ollie is a bit of a conundrum with his coat. If you look at the photos he went from looking like his brother to this rather wild look in a few short weeks as he blew his puppy fur. I would like some input on it. Parents were a sable mom and a blue merle dad. Had a woman go bonkers the other day trying to tell me he was a red merle.

Welcome your boys are very cute.

The tri must have been a dark mahogany sable as your boys are diffinately Sable Merles. You can't get Sable merles from a Tri and a Blue merle.

That being said my friend has a sable merle Pike and he was fairly dark with a few obvious merle patches(the normal sable color) as a small pup and then turning this weird silver peach color when his puppy coay blew out around 5 months. He never have alot of dark spots so he was as merlely appearing as Ollie. He got darker and darker as he grew up and now it is very hard to tell he is a merle. I wonder if Ollie will get darker too.

Here in my friends album Pike, Duchie, and Brodie are Sable merles

You're right she was sable

The breeder has a tri expecting and it must be in my head.

Hey, welcome! We're from Chicago, but we just went to Seattle in August, and we took our Sheltie Buffy since we couldn't bear to leave her for 10 days. Did you know there's a Sheltie meetup group out there? We visited them (my Buffy's the teeny one) and we also took her hiking all over. Seattle's wonderful; we love it there.

Dogs and Seattle

Hi Diana, I'm glad you enjoyed Seattle. I know of the Sheltie meetup group and we just haven't gotten around to getting involved yet, but should. We have only come across a few shelties at local dog parks which has been a surprise. I'm glad you brought Buffy and it looks like you had a good time. It's said that Seattle has more dogs than children living in it. Rain, dogs, and coffee we have plenty!
