Hello

Welcome!!!:smile2: Your tri is beautiful!! I have 4 shelties and my newest addition is a tri. I wanted one of each color, but, I think my husband put the the brakes on with four:lol:

Thank everyone!!! Yeah I am contemplating getting another dog I just don't know if I want another Sheltie or Wesite I love them both so much. It's actually pretty funny my Westie breeder had a Sheltie for a pet and my Sheltie breeder had a Westie for a pet (a resuce). I tell my husband I need aonther one of both because I can't decide, but he rolls his eyes and sighs (b/c he knows I'm serious). I do love them like children and they are VERY spoiled.

So happy I found this forum b/c for a while I felt like I was going insane. Lots of great advice.

My name is Jessica and I have a 13 1/2 month old Tri boy named Henry and a 3 year old Westie named Alex. (and two cats that both dogs love to chase Pumpkin 8 and Sassy 7).

My husband and I live outside of Charleston, S.C. where he is stationed in the Navy, but we are getting ready to relocate (he's detaching finally after 10yrs of service) and we will be moving to western Massachusetts for his new job.

Super excited to be able to connect and get advice from other Sheltie lovers!!!!

Hey Jessica -Welcome.What part of Mass will you be moving to?I do alot of agility trials in Mass.Maybe we can get our gang together.I have two shelties a blue and a sable.

Sharon, we are moving to Western Mass the town we are buying our house in is Agawam, MA. That would be great I would love to see Henry's reaction to other Shelties.

Wow not to far from me .I always do the Thanksgiving Cluster wich is the largest agility trial in the country in Springfield Mass.in Nov.When you get settled let me know.

Riley and I are also nearby in CT. Agawam is only about an hour drive for me and I almost always end up in West Springfield for some type of fair/show/etc. Riley would LOVE to have another sheltie friend to play with!!

Welcome to the Forum and to New England! I'm in Connecticut too so not far, and also at the Big E frequently for shows.

Our first dog was a Westie...they are super dogs and great with Shelties, I bet. We have multiple Shelties now and would never be without one. Or two or three! You really can't have just one... :wink2:

Welcome to NE :) Your sheltie will love the snow...mine are out for hours in the cold...the heat they hate...like right now they are all laying in the ac with the fan on them:rolleyes2: My aunt has a westie, she hates the snow as well...she will go out literally 10 inches from her door in the winter and do everything right there and protest rather loudly until you let her back in!!

On another note, sounds like everyone from NE will be at the thanksgiving cluster!!

Welcome to the forum ! Love the photos of Henry and Alex.

Let's see ---- Ashley left Charleston, now you're leaving.... Someone has got to stay behind to mind the humidity and keep watch for hurricanes !
