Hello

Eeny, meeny, miney, mo. Puppies, how I miss holding them up and inhaling their puppy breath. I was so glad that my puppies were white (westies) or black (Belgians) and colour didn't factor in. I love the name - perfect.

when can't decide - get two
that is how i got Kayla and Tessa. went to get a little girl, there were 2 girls......
now think of a name that will go with pip !

Unfortunately Rose the breeder had a list of 5 people plus herself for a pup so I think getting two would be difficult I'm lucky enough to be getting one I can't imagine being too far down the list and missing out. Unless I take a pal who can stuff one up her shirt I think just the one will do. My girls won't know what hit them anyway their ears are perfect puppy tug toys!

I'm partially hoping my breeder will pick for me too danisgoat I don't know how I'll be able to reject the other three!

Picking Pip!

Welcome to the forum...there are so many tips and so many to offer advice. You'll really enjoy it! The puppies are so cute at that age. My breeder selected a quiet boy for me and a feisty girl for my daughter. At 4 months of age they switched personalities!! Jesse is now the hyper excited one and Kalli is calm. What a surprise to us!:eek2:

Hi everyone,

Thought I'd say hello as I've been lurking for a while trying to make the time go quicker. My Sheltie is currently only 1week old and I've yet to meet the litter (I get to go in 25 days time, not that I'm counting down or anything) and pick out my pup. It's quite a special litter as they were born on my birthday, the 7th Feb, which was also the 200th birthday of Charles Dickens. I'm naming my little boy Pip from the novel Great Expectations.

Anyway, in a bid to relearn all the Sheltie tips and tricks (my first ever dog was a Sheltie) I thought I'd sign up and while away the time browsing.

Nice to meet you all

Elaine
What a wonderful name and tribute to Dickens!!!

I'll bet, I really hope Pip doesn't do a switch on me, though I'd love him whether he wanted to do agility or not!

Thanks for all the welcomes :biggrin2:
