Hello everyone, I adopted a Sheltie mix about two weeks ago from our local shelter. Her name is Rosebud.:smile2: She is so very loving and smart. She is a year and a half old. Everyone says she looks like me and acts like me too. :lol: Out of all the dogs there she was the one I connected with and I'm so happy to welcome her to my home!:yes:
 
Hi May Rose and welcome to the forum. Thank you for adopting Rosebud from the shelter. I adopted a pure bred sheltie from sheltie rescue about a month ago and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. I have had shelties for many years but Baxter is my first rescue and a great dog. All my other shelties were bought as puppies from breeders. I hope Rosebud brings as much joy to you as Baxter has brought to us.

This is a great forum with knowledgeable,caring people who can offer great advice and encouragement if you should need it. Hope you enjoy it here.
