Help my carpet!!

I followed the Puppies for Dummies routine which is similar to the Monk's instructions. We just have Megan and we were afraid she might get too curious about the pool in our backyard so we never left her out too long. When we first got her we went outside with her, now that she's alittle older we let her stay out more. She seems to have a reverential fear of the pool at this point, but I still watch from the window just in case!

I don't think she has a UTI, because it happens infrequently and she holds it from 9:00pm till about 6-6:30 am with no whining at all. I have been using Natures Miracle to clean the carpets, have you all heard of or used it? I have also heard that Odoban is great too! TY SOOO much
Bailey had a chronic UTI and she held it over night. Their bladder slows down at night, so even with a UTI, they seem to be able to hold it during the night.
Girls are a little harder to house train than boy puppies. Bailey is 6.5 months now and she was not fully house broken until about a month ago. Bailey's house breaking issues were most likely from her UTI and puppy vaginits.
I use natures miracle and it worked well for me.
Does she actually pee every hour? Or are taking her outside every hour and she just stands there and then pees in the house?
Interestingly enough, Megans vulva or however you spell it is ever so slightly inverted. The Vet told us to help her keep the area clean by using baby wipes after she comes in, which I do. Also said if she develops UTI's or seems bothered by it then she would do a vulvaplasty on her. BUT, if it doesnt bother her and she doesnt develop issues than we'll leave it alone. She doesnt pee every hour and sometimes she does let us know that she has to go out by whining. Her "area" looks healthy, dry and you really can't tell that there is an inversion.

A cure for her slightly inverted "tulip" is to let her have one heat cycle before having her spayed. When bitches come into season, the vulva swells quite a bit. After her cycle, it will shrink somewhat, but remain an adult size and more outward, and this will help her from possible chronic UTIs in her lifetime.
This is the only time I recommend not spaying earlier.

If she has an inverted vulva then she might have a uti since utis r common with inverted vulvas. I thought bailey had one too but her vulva is just small. Def get a urine sample to the vet.
Letting her go through one heat can help her inverted vulva. Good luck! Keep us updated

When I was a nurse, I remember one time, someone put talcum on an enderly lady. The other nurse came to check the catheter and exclaimed, "Now who put powder all over her Martha?"
I like to have died laughing!!!!Tulip is much more refined.
She doesnt seem to have any symptoms of a UTI. I think I just obsessively take her outside cause she doesnt pee every time I tale her out. From what I have read of the clinical symptoms, she doesnt have any. But it wouldn't hurt to ask the Vet at our next check up or even take a urine sample in. Her vulva is VERY slightly inverted, so I don't think that's an issue, as of yet anyway!!

Lol!! that is funny..I think tulip is a great name for a girl puppy's area, still cracks me up though..
