It would be really neat to have a group of Shelties up here for a visit,...... Just imagine the fun they would have.

Ann, I had the exact same thoughts! And Ian, be careful what you wish for!!! I could see driving up to experience that! ;)

After a big day of playing in deep fresh snow yesterday,..... It was time for a rest.....

However,....... It was not long before it was "inside ball" time...... Look at the Right hand side of the pic below...... He just plants a ball & then stares you down patiently to wait....... ;) .... He will wait for as long as it takes you to notice him there (as if you could possibly "miss" that.....) ..... If we are not co-operative within a certain timeframe, It must mean that we are not happy with that particular ball/toy he has presented,..... So he'll go get a different one & put it next to the first.

Danielle & I were absorbed in a really good movie one evening & over the course of the movie, he placed 5 different toys next to each other on the sofa,...... Not long before the movie ended, he picked up one of the balls, hopped up on the sofa next to me & dropped the ball in my lap,..... Followed by nosing my arm toward the ball......

"Ok Drake,..... I'll throw the ball for you...... "

Occasionally he presents another toy that you are "expected" to play with .....
