Hi from Chicago

Welcome aboard. Has anyone explained the pic tax yet? You are required by law to post a minimum of one picture per post. If said picture contains a sheltie, it satisfys the pic tax for five posts. Should pic include a a little boy being herded away from a dangorous well by a sheltie, you are good to go!

Thank you!!

Thank you!! :)
Im definitely uploading pictures, 80% of the pictures we take are of Pebbles. I just need to figure out how. I havent taken any classes with her yet, but i read 2 dog training books before we got her and we have been doing training sessions at home! She is very very shy around strangers and eventhough, she is getting better, I dont know how she would behave in a class.
I am so glad to see there are other sheltie owners that live close to us on the forum! :)

a puppy or obedience class would help her- she'd be around people who are learning to work with dogs so the exposure would be great

She knows all the basic things and some fun stuff like high five etc etc, should I look for a more advanced class or you think the basic puppy class is still worth taking? Also, I am not sure if it is just her or all shelties but she is a very fast learner (as long as there is cheese during training)! :)

any class would work- you're really there to socialize and learning anything new would be a bonus :wink2:
