Hi from the Mile High state...

Ooo...Joey is such a cute fur ball I just want to snuggle him! Makes me want another puppy...again... Looks to me like Joey will be Riley's 'mini-me'. Welcome to the forum!

Thank you guys! Roly poly is right!!

Justicemom, I'd absolutely love to see your dogs, but when I click on the link it doesn't take me to the album(says nothing has been updated recently?). I don't know what I am doing wrong:o

Riley is my goofball boy, but he is also my other 'headache'(said, with love!). Allergies have just about killed him this year, on his second dose of steriods...sigh....what we do for our fur family, right?

I am right there with your guys with wanting a variety! My very first sheltie as a child was a beautiful bi black female. My last sheltie was a sable...but very Peach colored(hence her name, Peaches!)

Here she was...she was my little shadow. She followed me everywhere, and was one of the best companions you could ask for.

I could easily have multiples of everything, but alas...my neighbors probably wouldn't like me LOL!

I will certainly post more about little Joey when he comes home. I am so excited for the little guy! I will probably have lots of questions to help with his ears when the time comes. I braced Riley early on, but gave up much too soon. I am trying to tell myself to stick it out with Joey this time!

Oh he is a cute little roly poly thing.

I do the AOAC thing here but I have my token sable Justice who is my heart dog. Actually I have every main color except a sable merle.

Ember is bi blue, Diva is Tri, Jamie is Bi black and Birch is Blue Merle. Didn't mean to do that just happened. LOL

You can see my crew here:

Riley is a handsome man too

here's a link to a pic of Ember, Diva, Birch and Justice:

Calliesmom, Thank you so much for providing the link!:smile2:

Gorgeous, gorgeous shelties everywhere! I have to admit, I have a thing for the bi blues, and blue merles. Justice, what a beautiful crew you have!

Callie, I love your 'rainbow' merle! How interesting with the change in color on the face. So neat. Your sable is beautiful, too!

Joey's little litter mate is a sable merle. That has really grown on me, too.

Some how, I keep ending up with the traditional sables LOL!

you're welcome- I love pix so I don't mind providing links:winkgrin:

actually, my two are littermates- hard to believe. I had seen a sable merle at a dog show and then read up on them- found out that usually when they grow up, you can't tell that they are merles. so I decided that I wanted one that you would know was a merle and I picked Cranberry days after his Thanksgiving birth and he has not disappointed me. The pups will be 3 yrs this November and they are great dogs:yes:

Thank you so much! I am definitely so excited about him. Can't believe I'll be getting his 'puppy gear' ready here shortly!

Thank you for the compliment on Riley, too. He is a great dog. Really such a sweetheart. He loves when my nieces visit, as he is 'their' dog LOL

Here he was back in August before our walk.
