Hi Sheltie Forum: We have been liberated!

Bentley here. Sorry it took me so long...mom's been hiding the computer. I think she heard about our plans! I think I've thrown her off the scent though, I've placed a stuffed sheltie in my crate so she'll have no idea.

Also, I was a little wary at first because I like to keep mom happy, but then I saw the picture of what Maia will be wearing and I decided it was worth it.

Lexi and I will meet everyone in Roanoke...about 6 hours from here.

10-4 good buddy, we'll meet you at the Fried Pickle. Just a word of advice, keep your leash close and if anyone looks at you drape it across to something nearby and look bored and innocent. Earnie's idea of wearing a cowboy hat is smart 'cause the State Troopers don't seem to notice anything else. HEY, why do they call them "the fuzz" anyway since they are smoother than a boiled egg?

Got a load of new sheltie folks here and Indy is no help, he started the pile for sleeping shelties and he's been interlocked in the back ever since, snoozing. Figaro didn't get in the truck when he saw that Emma had taken all the squeakers, I mean the Gems out. Lassie Light is sitting in the corner of the bench seat trying to keep his hairspray from getting messed up. I made Lassie Tootle take Trixie to the back for a nap because, frankly, the kid was a bit of a hassle. Wouldn't want his day job. Chevy is driving and I'm doing something called "shifting the clutch and braking"; Chevy is doing the rest with something called a "cruise control" and a "steer wheel." Anyway, got the CB and the GPS down here and somebody spilled popcorn onto the floorboards so I'm good for another couple hundred miles.

I will be starting out in the morning for Bacca and Indy's.......Going a little south first to pick up my Boopka Bailey, Mom, Uncle Barkley, Pixie and Tansy.........

Hey Noah, do you want me to come over your way to pick you up?

The snow here is really bad right at the moment and I played really hard outside today in it with Teddy the Terror and I need to get some rest. 7 hours (Ct's Quiet Corner to Ottawa) is not too bad after I pick everyone up......

Should I bring Teddy? He is really good for a raucous time, but he could really be a bit over the top!

mmmmmm noah here....I heard food!!! Sorry I drooled on the keyboard hopefully mom wont notice... Count me in! Mom dragged me to a sheltie christmas party today...I got to play with other puppies it was super fun and since it was indoors no ice to worry about so I could run full speed!!!! And besides I need a get away mom keeps telling me I cant play with my best friend because she was bred (what ever that means) and doesnt want me flipping her over anymore:rolleyes2: sigh.....I need wild fun!!! WOOO HOOO ROAD TRIP!!!!!!!!!!:smile2:
 
I am across the country but I think I can manage it. I flew to Vegas from SD last week and it's a piece of cake. I just need another travel mate. My sister is about 20 miles from here ... Shea!! I will contact her and we will be on our way! Can't wait!!!

Be right there, if I start running now, I catch that 18 wheeler coming over the Halifax Harbour Bridge going to Ottawa... I normally chase those anyhow! THIS time I will catch it, and be right there!

I heard something about girls and poopsicles stuff.. and snow and and and we are going to find our missing manhoods, too?

PS I will bring a stash (catnip, I mean, of course) and the beer, I couldn't be living in the Maritimes without it!
