Newton here, we are still at the Fried Pickle waiting for Trapp and Earnhardt. Getting kinda worried as they should have beat us here. Do you think they got sentimental about Michele and her cold and turned back in a Red Cross effort? Anyway, will hold here for a bit waiting for them. GPS says we have 11.5 more hours of driving to do, most of it on 81. Sorry Beckon...won't be joining the 95 crush. Too many state troopers and we don't have your Humvee and body armor! We're waiting here another hour for Trapp and Earnie and whoever else wants to join the convoy. Lassie Light used his charm and got us a bunch of hamburgers and chili dogs, so we are set for provisions at this time. Will head out again at 11:30 pm and drive thru the night.

Chinook and Maia here. Mom hid the keys to her car on us. She heard all the rumbling. But do not fear, Maia has some friends from her agility instructor's house - siberians! They can pull a sled or something she said. We are to meet them at the edge of town at the stoke of midnight. She, Maia will ask to go out at 11pm. We will hop the fence and take the river north to meet up with these siberians. They said that they can get us to the Ontario border by the morning. From there, we will hop a train to Ottowa! See you at the party!!!!

While mom was getting ready for bed, I packed a get away bag. I packed my coat (I heard it's pretty cold up north), water, kibble, rawhides, toys for the long trip, money (just in case we have to bribe border patrol...hmmm what else?
