I didn't see those instructions on the box!!!

What I did read, was to remove the little squirrels, they squeak..the tree trunk does not.So squeak each one,and put in tree trunk..It's all it took for Trapp. He was digging his nose right in to get the little squeakers out.

I did the same with Jasper..he was intrigued, but toted off the tree trunk, and put his nose in one of the holes. He finally figured it out, after a few minutes.

Earnhardt was quite intrigued as well,as we caught him,as he was making a bee-line to go outside,he was carrying the whole tree trunk, and wanted it for himself.
    To funny!

I saw thise at another pet shop, privately owned business, that sells only holistic foods,etc..very pricey shop, but she has bulldogs, and she said her dogs were not thrilled either.

I think I typed I got it at petsmart, but my mistake.I got it at a shop called Woofer's. It's a store that has bookoo toys, food, treats you name it is there. They sell only holistic type foods.

I do believe they have a website:

I got mine from my friend Kim's shop. We got the bees in the hive for Layla when she passed her CGC. Then we got the squirrels for another birthday. The tree got chewed up, and the bees are long gone. So now, our squirrels live in the beehive!

We had "Hide a Bird" Bacca loved that toy. I used to stuff carrots inside as well to give him added incentive to work at it. And he loved the squeak the birds made.

Unfortunately, most of the birds "died" (chewed) so now I have an empty bird house. Time for refills! Though we still have one half chewed bird that the boys drag out time and again.

I came home from work today, and there it was, in the middle of the floor! Well loved!

I believe the toy is called the Steggin Egg if I recall correctly from the label on mine it's a DogZilla toy.

I don't see it online at all though.

We have the Steggin' Egg (from WalMart) and the hide a squirrel (Amazon.com). The pups go nuts for the Steggin' Egg, little tails just twirling. Newton likes the little squirrels from the hide a squirrel, but he likes little toys (cat toys particularly). Angus likes to chew the tree trunk (but he will chew real tree trunks the big dope, I think he is part beaver). Emma went through a possessive toy phase after her puppies left the house and would gather up all of the squeaky toys and nest with them. A bit sad actually.

Oh, and funny story! Once Bacca was so intent on getting his snout into the holes that he got it stuck on his head! I laughed so hard, that I didn't immediately jump up and remove it. I just watched his shake his head and paw at it. He got it off fast enough, but it sure was funny at the time!
