holiday sheltie

The coat is grown in and the scars hidden. The lumps have gone down. When I don't have to work Saturdays, we go for a walk around the city with other neighborhood dogs and he does great! He's going to take his Community Canine test on Thursday-- hopefully he doesn't want to play with Charlie the papillon too badly and can sit still.

How is Mickey's knee doing Trini?

Darci, Mickey's knee is strong and he is doing super well. Dante (little black pom who came into rescue with sheltie Dakota) also ended up having surgery. His was for a ruptured ACL and then he dislocated his hip on the same leg just 5 weeks post surgery...but he too is healing well and even though the vet couldn't get the leg bone back into the hip socket, nature seems to be building a muscle sling to hold the leg bone and it looks very hopeful that he won't have to have a femoral head and neck removal. So, all is good here right now. :smile2: Thanks for asking.

Trini

Beautiful picture. Love his eyes! So glad to hear he has mended so well. Best wishes on his community canine test.
