This past weekend we were in Charleston because my husband had an interview Monday and Tuesday (yes, there's a possibility that we will move back). The dogs were great, even though it's an 11.5 hours drive. They did well at the in-law's house, and the hotel!
While we were there we had to squeeze in some agility (of course) and had a GREAT time catching up with our old friends. We definitely missed them.
I won't bore you guys with ALL the videos, but here are some highlights:
Bentley is a bit rusty as he hasn't really done any courses since his injury in August. So of course, we had some handling mishaps (just not being in harmony) but he was so happy to be out there. And...miracle of all miracles, he got his 2o2o on his dogwalk. We have been working on this (retraining) for a few months now. It was great! So, if you'd like, just fast forward to 54 seconds and watch his dogwalk. I know it's slow, but we've been working so hard to get this far, that I am VERY proud! (And the teeter issue was only because this teeter is very different from the one he's been seeing) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dv8yMKQ2lkc
And Lexi had an awesome weekend. She had an absolute blast. She earned Qs in Advanced Jumpers, Advanced Gamblers, and Advanced Pairs.
Here's her Jumpers run...she did make a mistake when she went around the tunnel (this is typical of her issues. If a task is too hard, she will take a shortcut. In this case, taking the tunnel meant slowing down. The angle is tougher than it looks). But she still did great!

. I think Bentley looked pretty good for a dog who was injured in August. Yey for the DW! Most importantly, he did look so happy to be trialing. Love is little happy dances at the end of the runs.
