How long for hair to grow?

My little boy had is just back from a trip to the groomer. She had to clip the hair around his back legs and bum as it had gotten matted. I do try and take care of his coat but ever since we tried new groomer in June he has been terrified of the brush going anywhere near his legs or bum. Needless to say he was back at our regular groomer today and he was happy as can be to see her and her 3 dogs :smile2: I was just wondering how long it will take to grow back or will it ever?

It took about a year for Honey's whole back end to look fairly normal again after being clipped by an over-zealous groomer.

He has a little puppy bottom now but I think he looks cute :D He also had his under coat brushed out but the weather next week is supposed to be very hot so that is probably for the best. Hopefully it's grown back in by winter!
 
Merlin doesn't like his 'breeches' and tail being groomed. He is just sensitive down there. I have started using a Furminator just on those parts and because it is so gentle he is happy to let me do that and I get out lots of fur.

Me too. It's easy to use the furminator than try to do any poop chute trimming, in case they decide to clamp the tail or sit with a pair of scissors.:eek2:
