You could have him stand up next to a wall and use a pencil to mark a little spot on the wall. Then he can go away while you use the tape measure :)

Great idea, I just did that and he is just shy of 16 inches, so I guess we can round up and say 16. He's a little chunker though, 28 lbs and I can't feel his ribs today after spending a week at Grandma and Grandpa's house

Column A can be starred for puppies
    B is names
    C is height (inches)
    D is Length (inches)
    E is weight in pounds
F is weight in kilos i believe
    H is height:weight ration
    I being height:length ratio

I'm still not sure about the correct way to measure length though....

I think the columns are all out of alignment. The headers are near the bottom.

I put Birch in but it doesn't calculate the ratios.

I think I messed up on the spreadsheet. But Danny is 17 inches and 30 lbs.

It's definitely not you, Barb! I think Dr. Shelli is right, and the columns are all out of whack. The column headings seem to be missing altogether at this point. I think I'll wait to put Lerwick's info in until somebody who understands spreadsheets can sort it out.

In the meantime, I can at least vote in the poll and share the results here:

Lerwick is a hair over 16" and weighs 23.5 lbs (at 8 months old).

He hasn't really gotten any taller since the last time I measured him. He also won't stand still long enough even to mark the wall with a pencil carefully, so I couldn't exactly get an accurate measurement of his height. :rolleyes2:

I think I sorted it out. Looks like someone accidentally sorted a column, and it threw everything out of whack. Let me know if there are any more issues.

To add your dog at the bottom you can type in the blank fields, and if there are no more blank fields, right-click on the row above the average, and select "Insert 1 Above".

    Hope that helps!
