I was going to suggest a lower table (like a low height agility table) that he can get on by himself to get comfortable being on the table.
    he does look good:yes:

That's a great idea! It would certainly help him get over his fear of heights if he got up onto it himself.
All the judges said he shows well, he needs to gain confidence on the table. Maybe by the spring.
I know the breeder would like it if I showed him, she has of course been worried that he may go over and has said he can only grow a "smidge " lol but I do think he's almost done growing. He doesn't have huge paws but did have larger knuckles but the knuckle now looks normal...kinda like he's grown into it.
But he really can only grow a smidge lol, he's probably just over 15" now.

I do have a grooming table and he's been getting his meals and placed on it daily and he's gotten better but still a ways to go. I'm not giving up yet lol and I'm sure by spring he'll be a totally different dog. Patience is the key. He is certainly turning into a beautiful boy as his fur is finally growing out!

I think a lower table that he can get on himself is a great idea. Sometimes it’s the lack of control that can scare our dogs. If he learns he can control when he gets up, it might help. And you could eventually put a step/stairs to the real grooming table as well.

With Finnie it is a lack of control that he doesn't like! He's such an independent dog that even being picked up bothers him (although that too is getting better). I do have a low coffee table in the garage (needs some work so it wont hurt it to have a dog on it lol). I'll put some anti slip material on it and work on helping him up on it until he's able to get up on his own. Thanks for the tips...great ideas!

Perhaps look into getting a KLIMB. They are a bit pricy but really adjustable in height and can be used on angles to also work on conditioning, proprioception, and confidence. They are also portable so it would be easy to work with it in different environments (since dogs don't generalize well). Here is a link to the instructions on getting a dog used to the KLIMB: https://www.blue-9.com/pages/a-step-by-step-guide/
