So here's a question...assuming you're doing HWYHT 2 or 3 but you couldn't lead out. How do you get to the back side of 2?
I saw something similar to this in the latest course map posted on the USA Agility Team FB page (it's called "Dania Cup, Agility Final", and it's #s 18-20). I cannot figure out how I would do that. Even with my slow dog I don't think I could get that turn in.
Did I forget to mention that this course map came from one of Daisy's recent practices? I believe it was with the USA Agility Team.

If I showed you the one with the numbers, it's probably the same. But we didn't run it the same. Here's the original
course map.
For myself, and going by what Daisy taught us.....if we couldn't lead out....
I guess it'd depend on where you came from. I mean, if anything, she's taught me a lot of times, you can make the FC, you have to push yourself. But let's assume we can't make it, I would probably handle it one of two ways.......
HWYHT 2: I'd probably do a post-turn to a RC and pull him back to the tunnel (as I'd be on the landing side of the jump by that point). If I'm nowhere near that jump (as in REALLY far behind), then I'd probably do a quick 90 degree counter clockwise turn, then step back again to show him my front for him to come over the jump. Then run at him to get him to take a sharp turn to the tunnel and run like heck to get to the next jump.
In HWYHT 3. I really should fix that. The number 2 is on the wrong side. It should be a straight jump. But assuming it wasn't, I'd probably make Koji do a 360 around the jump, so that he's lined up with 3 better, versus making him do sharp turns.
You saw my video of me doing that FC. I thought for sure there was no way I would ever make that FC, Koji's just too fast for me. Even with the straight away, I thought, no way, he's going to bypass me too early. But in the end, having pushed myself, I see that there's a lot more I can do.
