I found a tick...

Sending good thoughts for Gavin. Lethargy can be a Lyme symptom--it was always the first sign Barkley's Lyme was flaring, and that can also affect their appetite. If it doesn't improve in the next day, I would have the vet see him and do a Lyme test. Hopefully if there's any question they'd do a round of doxycycline. Most vets will do that just to rule out Lyme even if the test is negative. A dose or two of doxy improves them almost immediately. Give your boy a gentle pat for me.

I have monday off, so if he doesnt improve we will go to the vet sunday or monday.
I am becoming more of the opinion he is weak and not lethargic. He feels more boney than normal and he isn't walking as well as normal. I wonder if his eating issues lasted more than just this morning. I did get him to eat some yogurt and peanut butter (soft yummy foods with lots of protein) and I want to see how he does. I think I might need a grocery trip for yogurt and chicken broth since I am now out. I should look to see if I have any baby food....

How is Gavin this morning?
I am so sorry to hear he is off his food. I pray he bounces back with your help! Poor guy. I bet he is weak. Did they report he was off his food when you boarded him? Hopefully, he will recover quickly! Soft pats and sweet kisses to Gavin! Virtual hugs to you!
