I had to apologise to my dog- DOH

I was out training with Cosmo last night, and had set up a course . I was just randomly running the course in a lot of different configurations after the first couple of runs to vary the pattern but not really giving it a lot of thought but changing it up on the fly as we were running trying to mess him up.
Well twice when we hit the weave poles I stopped him because of improper entry into the poles & he was giving me this WHAT LOOK. When I actually
stopped to think about it for a second I realised that HE was actually entering correctly and it was me that was in error, OH MY
So all I can say is its pretty sad when your dog knows his right from his left better then you do, at least he forgave me and continued on to do it correctly after that.:biggrin2:

I have seen many Shelties do this, they are so smart.

One of my friends Shelties will stop and look and start barking his head off at the owner.....like he was telling the kid off. They are great.

hahaha
at least he only gave you the what LOOK.. Toffee gives me the YOUGOTTABEKIDDINGME bark sessions, when I get it THAT wrong.. and I have to wait until he is calm lol so until he allows me to apologize!
LOL, good for him to have great CORRECT entries I think that is brilliant!

That is funny. I have apologized (out loud) to Bentley during an agility trial before, on the course.

"Ooops! Sorry buddy, my fault!"

Lol, I am looking forward to being told off at my sheltie! "What sort of cross-over do you call that Sophie!?"

I have done that to Justice alot. In obedience and agility, I have often given him the worng command and he did what he was suppose to do anyway. I swear I've since him roll his eyes at me.

My girls, no way they would bail me out. They would do as I said and then tell me about when it was wrong.

he is SUCH an awesome dog! I would just LOVE to meet him. I feel that way about Toffee, although he DOES tell me off, but I think it's cuz he is still young, lol. I want him to be like Justice :)
