Ian's thread of food

Still not as cheap as it was but compared to grocery stores it was a LOT better tasting and competitive on prices. Now some cuts were $$. Very fresh and not full of junk from local cattle. Though you are near Alberta which is a great place for steak (or was when I was last there skiing).

Of course Ian would be up for pork also. I have a rotisserie attachment for the grill so...... shhhh Ian's ears perked up....
I’m actually nowhere near Alberta…technically I’m separated from Alberta by 1 province (Saskatchewan) but I am over 1300 kilometres away (almost 14 hours to drive). If you look for Grand Forks North Dakota and then look North of there you’ll find Winnipeg.
We do have some cattle farms here but definitely not as much as Alberta. It also doesn’t help that many of the processing facilities have been amalgamated, mostly going to Alberta. However we do have a local butcher that processes their own beef. Expensive but VERY good. When I want a good steak I buy from them.

You sure do have a great attitude Ian!

Explain to me how my dogs know it’s not supper time…I usually get breakfast ready for the next day when I do their supper. Sometimes however I don’t and then I have to do it even later in the evening. No barking, no excitement…how do they know it’s not for that time? Mornings are crazy with barking dogs (I call it feeding time at the zoo) and even more so when I don’t have breakfast ready!
How can they tell???
