I'm not sure that a Peticure qualifies as an Xmas gift to your baby. My boys would call it a torture tool!

Yikes, McKinley will be learning, I would think, in the next month or so the whole lifting a leg thing. And yes, MMM is better behaved than the nephews!

How old is a dog before it does this? Smudge is seven months, and he still does not lift his leg.

I would die laughing if he went to the bathroom on somebody's tree. That's just hysterical.

Bailey is spoiled. She gets a hanukkah and a christmas present. I got her a bunch of toys. As if she doesn't have enough toys already! I'm sure I'll find some other stuff to get her between now and the holidays.

I have to get her a christmas stocking too.

I think Deska was about 11months and he got desexed at 10mths (he probably had a little testosterone left in him when he did it). He learnt the lifting from hanging with other boy dogs. Lucky I wasnt there. But when we went down last Easter Deska poo-ed in my mum's bedroom so he doesn't have a good track record! Maybe he knows my step-father doesnt like dogs...

Yes, a nail trimmer would be torture!!! I am sure SUBU will demand extra treats for that!

I will agree! Honestly it is not even useful.I found it to be very cumbersome,and for Earnhardt,his nails are to tough.

I think it totally depends on the dog. Bentley is 2 now and has never marked anything. We've even had other male dogs come into the house and mark things (no fun!) and Bentley barely seems to notice.

Neither of my boys lift their legs and they are both 19 months and weren't spayed until almost 1 year.

I think its a Sheltie thing, because my forever pup, Timber never lifted his leg either.

I think they know they stay cleaner if they just squat...because of the long fur???? Who knows, but I'm betting if we took a poll, but Shelties males would squat, not lift.
