I'm so very sorry for being so late to post here. I've not been on the forum much lately.
I so very much share your loss of Indie (as I lost my Bacca this time last year).
Bacca will be forever in my heart. But I found Callan who is quickly filling in the holes.
I hope that someday you find another forever pet to help fill the holes of Indies loss.

Thank you everyone for your kind words. Everyday is very hard without him. He was my first dog. My heart... I wish I could have one more minute with him in my arms.

That is such a precious picture...and such a heartbreaking one. Finding peace after the passing of a gentle soul is always hard...but it is doubly hard when it is so sudden with no warning. Someday the good memories will start to replace the tears...but it takes time.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss of such a wonderful companion. That was a wonderful picture as well. I have been on this forum for a long time but evidently I do not have enough postings to post attachments, or I would have posted pictures of my precious Lily, that we lost just a week ago.
There will be private times now that you will find that were not necessarily private time before your loss. There will be times that you will miss your special friend, when nothing will fill that void.
I too am going through a tough time with memories. I now have another puppy that occupies my time but, there are always those special times that keep coming back. I have my time with them, then go about everyday life.

Remember the concept of the Rainbow Bridge.
