Introducing Cruz!

Yes, very similar markings! Your boy is beautiful!

thanks- that was at 8 weeks.
this is Jocu at almost 2 yrs

He is 10 weeks with LOTS of fur, but you're right - he is going to be on the bigger side (his breeder thinks just under or at 16").

I'll go with your boy getting very close to 16"- Jocu ended up around 17". hopefully first official agility measurement this weekend:fl

What a stunning bi-black your baby boy is. It's going to be fun watching Cruz grow into manhood. I lived in an apartment for 6 years with my now Sheltie Angel, no problem, but I am retired and was home all day. :fl

Chris works from home, which will make it a lot easier. He is a smart boy, and is starting to figure out to go to the balcony door (where his puppy pads are) when he needs to go. No accidents since the initial 2 AND he has slept through the night... yay!

Thank you everyone for all your kind words :)

Gorgeous puppy Cruz!!! Wow, I didn't realize how much I like bi-blacks till I saw your new baby!

Thank you! Funny, we didn't realize how much we liked them either - we were set on a sable or tri, but this little gaffer stole our hearts. He is a joy!

No to human food

Hello Sheltie Nation, HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO EVERYONE. I wish for all a blessed, wonderful fun-filled happy family day, including of course all our sweet little fur baby's. I know we are all aware of the dangers of certain people foods to our baby's but I read an article yesterday that had an inclusion I had not heard.

Persimmons can cause inflammation of the small intestines and can also cause intestinal obstruction, also possible if the dog eats a pit from a peach or a plum and the scary part I did not know, both the peach an plum pits contain cyanide. :hide
