Yummy raw food! I know there are some people on the raw feeding lists who love nothing better than a good ice storm because the squirrels fall off the power lines and die. No trauma, no road burn, so good to feed dogs! (after a good freezing)

Aw, you beat me to it! Poutine is the the almost perfect food. 3 out of 4 foodgroups covered:
- French fries -> potatoe -> vegetable
- Gravy -> protein
- Cheese -> dairy
And all those nutrients sealed in by the deep frying!
btw - don't forget about Beavertails! (no, not the real thing....these are deep fried bread dough, covered with cinnamon and sugar....delicious!)

Yes, poutine is absolutely the perfect food.... and if you have some pancakes with maple syrup for dessert you've also covered the "grains"... a truly balanced diet!!

after all is said and done.. it's about processing!
Besides that what the heck are we doing? Why are we as Consumer not demanding ANY kind of regulation of the pet food market!?
Remember cigarettes years ago? My neighbour said everyone was smoking in the delivery room when she had her son, including the doctor... The tobacco industry had great advertising, huge Lobby, huge money... and the whole market was cornered by a chosen few... sounds familiar? That can also be said for the Western pet food Industry now! So to me it doesn't really matter anymore which ones were tested, since we really know who the players in the industry are... they are fast buying out the small companies who are trying to do right... Again great advertising and money talks. Raw or not, I rather try and feed things where I know what went in to it, without processing and feed real food.
IF PEOPLE hadn't started demanding answers and get some kind of regulation started there would be children delivered in a wad of smoke today!
