IS it sex or personality?

Maggie just adores Zak and allows him to do things that she would NEVER allow Katie. Last night we went to bed and Maggie hates to sleep where the quilt is folded back and she started scratching at it and got to close to the edge and fell off the bed. I jumped out to get her and put her back next to Zak.
I got into bed and looked at them and there he was with his head on her back and she did not care, must start takeing the camera to bed with me.
But ever since we brought him home she is so different with him than Katie.
So is it because he is male or is because he has a great temperment and doe not let her showing of teeth or snarling faze him a bit.

hmmm I tend to think its a bit of personality maybe...but definitely a good question. I have Mia who is a happy go lucky little dog that doesnt let anything bother her unless someone tried to steal her toys:wink2: and lets who ever is near her lie down, and sleep on her whether its male or female..Than I have Molly who no one better go near her or else she shows them her teeth, but on occasion she will let Mia lie next to her...so who knows...maybe shes a weird dog!

Callie lets Dixie get close to her but she shows teeth to Cran most of the time. Cran is always trying to get Callie to play and gets in her face so pretty understandable. Dixie doesn't try that with Callie so the girls seem to hang together better :wink2:
Cranpup still thinks all other dogs are here to play with him:yes:
so I'd say it's a personality issue..........

I think personality. Maggie know's Zak is no threat ;-).. Katie may have been sending "alpha" signals ;-). Zak and Maggie
are a good match for each other, especially with Maggie in her "Golden Years" :wink2:
