Is this normal?

Gave him a small handful of kibble before bed and no throwing up thank goodness!
When Minnie was "little" she threw up at a time yellow bile? at night
then I gave her a little food before we went to bed, and that helped.

But when I got control of her stomach with food change
she has only done it a few times since, usually if she has seldom got a bone,
I have given her some white bread, when I have been up and wipe it up.

Well... I paid for it last night!

Forgot to give Liam his evening snack. Paid for it at 5am this morning! He threw up!

Fed him and the others and let everyone out for their morning potty break. Went back to bed with the boys. Just can’t get up at 5am on a Sunday morning!

Certainly won’t forget to give him his evening snack from now on!

My bad!

I do agree that blowing it out is a good choice. And as an extra trick, use a boar bristle brush when you dry and pull the fur straight. Seems to help!

Ha, ha, I have to do that with my own hair!!!!

OMG, we are both having bad hair days!:gaah

I also would give Piper Pepcid A/C in pill form when he was a pup. He got 1/2 a pill in the morning and 1/2 pill at bedtime...there was a stretch where he was throwing up quite a bit and it would return from time to time. Pretty much stopped when he turned a year.

Well, guess I will need to try the Pepcid A/C route! Gave him half the amount I give him for dinner before bed and he still threw up! Not much but enough to wake me up and break my sleep! :gaah

I am not a pleasant person to be around when I have broken sleep!!!

When I cleaned it up I found a lot of HAIR! He was playing with Beau yesterday and I noticed he was pulling out hair from him! I stopped him immediately when I say him doing it! Makes me worried about giving him too much freedom. He is totally house trained at 4 months! Who knew I would need to restrict him for playing!

Gloria, when Elise was younger she threw up in the middle of the night quite a bit. She was pretty quick about eating it (gross) and sometimes she was quiet enough that it didn't wake me up. I did find that sometimes it was a lot of hair, or grass, or toy fuzz, so I know that was a major culprit. She eventually just outgrew it. So hang in there!

Thanks, Corbinan, It is really irritating as I am an incredibly light sleeper...

Now, I know it was what he ingested... not so much acid in his tummy!

On a funny note... I was setting up the inside of the house for Halloween and I had music playing. I started to sing to the music and Liam got scared and ran away from me! Geez, I know I am not the best singer, but really... running away! :(

you need to borrow my boys- they come whenever you sing or whistle.....

I think the vomiting bile overnight used to happen to Bailey when she was a puppy too. I think I used to give her a little bit of food before bed and eventually she got over it.

Piper goes absolutely bonkers when I whistle and singing is a big no no around him! Finnie could care less but if I'm watching a football game and I yell or say YES WOOHOO etc Finnie starts barking and jumping on me...he thinks something is wrong:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:! Riley runs away when he just HEARS the football game on tv!

When I had issues with Piper the vet also gave me a syrup similar to pepto bismal (I guess small pups can't handle pepto)...he had too much stomach acid and the pepto coated his tummy while the Pepcid ac helped to reduce the acid. I'd ask your vet about something for Liam (Piper was on it for roughly 2 weeks...he got the pepto and Pepcid in morning and evening)...it worked wonders for him.
