Aww, he's adorable! Love the pics of him staying still! My Lerwick would never let a treat just sit on his nose like that. :lol:
 
Hmmm I never actually thought about training him to be a therapy dog. He is quite calm for his age, people always ask me how old he is and when I tell them they always gasp at how well behaved he is :P That might be a good idea actually, thanks for the advice!

And I teach him to stay first, so he already knows not to move and I put the food on his nose, putting my hands around his face at first so he doesnt move, then gradually move my hands away :) He only managed to hold on for like 5 seconds so I can take a picture lol

He's absolutely beautiful!

My first Sheltie, Honey, LOVED the water! She could never get enough. Makes me smile to see another Sheltie who loves that water.
 
Alfie is a very beautiful and talented Sheltie! The pictures are fabulous, I love the staying still ones!
 
wow! Your cody sure has resemblances to Alfie! They both has big white collar, and tell me if Im wrong but he's waiting for food LOL (I didnt miss the drool!)

And yes, what happened to Astro was probably the worst month of my life. I tried everything I can but he didnt come home... all I can hope is he is happy wherever he is. I think the worst part is not knowing what happened to him...

Astro only weighed 5kgs and we were at vets like once a week. Alfie on the other hand is already 13kgs of love and we've never been to the vets other than for neutering and vaccinations :)
 
Aww, well I'm sure that Astro is in a better place wherever he is. If I were you, I would just cherish what I have with Alfie today. BTW, those pics of him holding still are such a hoot. I really love the one where he's balancing your iPhone on his nose. Such silliness! :)
 
Thanks lunabear, I really cannot go through that again. Hes my very first sheltie and will always be that special.

Aww, I think my favorite one is either the one with him wearing that Fantasia Wizard hat, or the one where he's wearing the ear muffs. I can't decide, anyway he's adorable.
