Julius K9 harness - Label inspiration help!

'Dog in training' could be a good idea for sure. I'm actually thinking of getting one patch that says that just for particular occasions where I would be in a place with more dog people that would understand that this means she needs space. However in other occasions I would be worried that it would attract people to ask me ''what is she in training for'' which would put Kyara over threshold and get her to start barking.

Some of the cute ideas (eg look but don't touch) just seems like it would put people off the breed. I don't think we want to promote "princess" as an attribute of the breed.

Kyara actually means Princess in Swahili, she is named after a character in a movie that is a princess. As I mentioned in my first post, she walks in a royal way (sort of trotting). Plus, she is spoiled, not just by me but by our friends and family who will give her treats behind our backs just to get her to ''like them'' but even when she likes them, she only occasionally ''allows'' them to pet her as if she was some royalty:lol:. I guess she understands that this ''attitude'' gives her more treats :rolleyes2:.

I'm afraid that if someone is put off of shelties by simply reading the word ''Princess'' on her harness chances are they are probably already put off of the breed with all her barking for them coming to close to her. Joking aside, I must say that it would be a strange way to judge a breed by what is written on one individual dog of the breed's harness.

I had to chuckle at the "Princess". As just the other night I went to visit some friends that were camping. They are owners of a Boykin Spanial, which is SC state dog,as recognized. They use this dog for a lot of field training, and I may add is heavily used in her very young years. Smart, don't get me wrong. But the owner of the Boykin, kind of made this "comment" that shelties are "prudish" & to "prissy looking" for his liking. He prefers a manly dog....phhefff... I blew it off. And did not offer any further comment.

More like, "Hear me Bark!"

Ahaha!!!!

I've actually received the harness :) and I love it!!!! It's just so convenient! Kyara loves it too. Whenever I would put her old harness she would act like a was being cruel to her but now she acts like it isn't even there.

I still need to order the customized labels but I'm probably sticking with the:
''Kyara'' ''Her Majesty'' idea.

I'm going to try and keep them short since even though she has a size 0, the space for the labels isn't that long.

Thanks for all the great ideas everyone! I will post a picture of Kyara with her harness when I get the chance.
