Kip & his Sheep

Here is Kip watching his sheep. Kip has decided sheep aren't scary after all, and he is very interested in herding them. Here he is being nice and calm after racing around the sheep for a bit. These are Clun Forest sheep, and this is our ram flock. Clun Forests are a heritage breed, used for wool and meat.

My sister, the shepherd in the family, shears all the sheep. She makes shawls, crocheted hats, and pillows from the wool.

now when you brush Kip, save that undercoat and have it added to the sheep wool for yarn or just make yarn from his fur
