Koji Looks So Different....Then and Now Photos

I, totally, agree. He is extremely handsome either way. (whichever way his ears are).

ps I did hear that with prick ears they get less (or no) ear infections, because with prick ears the ears get more air.

Obviously, I'm not a "show dog" owner, but I think Shelties are precious with tipped or prick ears. I have two with prick ears and one with tipped and they are all just as beautiful as your Koji!!

If the ears are exceptionally large, prick ears can look a tiny bit comical, but you've got to love these guys regardless. They are priceless!

I think Koji suits pricked ears. I was prepared for whatever Merlin's ears chose to do, I had a hunch they would remain flopped as he they hung so low when I first got him. But if they had been pricked it wouldn't have bothered me.

I just don't have the energy for all that taping, very impressed with the people who do!

Wow--doesn't even look like the same dog to me. Of course everyone is right, he is handsome both ways!

I feel your pain. I saw a picture of Bentley the other day where we taped his ears. Just goes to show how much the ears affect a sheltie's expression.

I know the feeling. This was Miko as a puppy with his bat ears. I'm just so glad he grew into it and his nose too.lol

So cute I had to giggle ...then I started going through your album - and came to a dead stop with the photo of him sitting on a whitish color flooring ...my eyes welled up in tears as Miko looked so much like our first Sheltie Kayla (now at Rainbow Bridge) when she was a puppy ... I took almost an exact picture of her ...only the floor covering was beige/ brown. Her ears were glued down several times but popped up again and again ...the last time they popped we put band aids around them to try to keep them down - and she earned her nickname - BooBoo!

so true! He doesn't look as naughty with his ears taped down. Maybe I should tape them again, just for old times sake and get some photos of his innocent look. BTW, he reminds me of Lexi in that photo.
