Lacey is getting spayed tomorrow

A few of Spirit's internal stitches actually didn't dissolve - over about a 2 week span (about 3 weeks after she was spayed) they started poking through on her belly. The vet just snipped each one as it appeared, no problem. Don't be alarmed if you see this.

2 weeks today and life is pretty much back to normal. I took her out on a long walk this morning and she loved it. We went a little over 4 miles. Now she's resting. I think I actually wore her out (at least for a little while).

Final update

Life is back to normal now. We started going over jumps this week and she loves it.
I'm so glad to put this behind us. I don't think she is going to have much of a scar, if any. She just looks a little funny now with her fur growing back in. She kind of has some bald spots. Oh well, this too shall pass and now we can more onward.

Cleo never ended up with a scar once she healed up. Now you can't even tell she had anything done.

It is always nice when things are back to normal. Hopefully Lacey won't get into to much trouble.

Glad she's doing so well. Echo doesn't have a scar from her spay. I was a wreck the day the did it. I know how stressful that can be.
