Laserlight!!!

I brought a laser light and neither of mine were interested at all. However, Deska is a little OCD when it comes to brooms, rakes etc - and I blame myself for encouraging his rake attacks as a puppy when I was landscaping the back garden. So the moral is - dont encourage any behaviour in a puppy that you dont want to see amplified in an adult.
 
I personally would never use one. I have seen too many dogs become OCD with it and I wouldn't want to take the chance with Ellie. I remember very clearly a episode with the Dog Whisperer where a dog became OCD with a laser light and it was a very sad thing to see. It progressed to him becoming obsessed over any light/shadow movement. The dog was miserable. I am sure some dogs can handle it, but I am just not going to take the chance. I also worry about the laser hitting her eye accidently and causing damage because Sheltie's are do dang fast!
