Layla Injured

My vet agrees with my chiropractor that the issue is in the neck. We're going to our canine neurologist tomorrow morning for an assessment and an MRI. For now, Layla had a morphine-based injection and has muscle relaxers and Gabapentin, plus Metacam. She's lying on her little dog bed looking totally blissed-out! IMG_7159.jpg
 
I hope and pray with rest and meds she will recover quickly. I wish they could talk to us. It is so hard to see our babies hurting in any way! Fingers and paws crossed for a speedy recovery.
 
Oh dang - I am so sorry poor little Layla had that accident! That's happened here too but luckily not a very high bed and onto carpet. I know she is your world Chris so I hope it's nothing serious, just a temporary setback. She certainly looks snowed in that photo - a good thing right now. Hugs to you and gentle pats to Layla. :fl
 
Poor girl! I hope you see some improvement tomorrow.
Years ago my mom's dog had hurt his neck, it was very debilitating for him. A cortisone shot however helped him recover 100%.
 
Poor Layla - wow she looks zonked though, good thing as she will be able to sleep and sleep is healing. Hope you get good news today...
