leather dog collars

I don't have any sites bookmarked, but I do know that Ebay is saturated with sellers that have some very nice collars & leads.

I was looking for rolled leather for the boys last year, and found the most beautiful amish made rolled leather collars on Ebay. They are awesome. So soft, great price.

I also have a braided leather martingale that is Trapps. It is awesome.
Here is the newest version of what Trapp has.His does not have the buckel.

It slips over his head, but this one is quite nice.

Oooh ... I like the red. Clancy would look sharp with a red collar & leash :biggrin2: It worries me that it says to contact them for pricing...That generally means I can't afford it :rolleyes2:

if your in the states wag.com sells leashes for about 40, collars 25. which is pretty reasonable. they also have a listing on their website of all dog stores that carry them. went to my local one today. 24 for collar 40 for leash so pretty reasonable. if they are more weather proof thats great! still have to think about not much extra money at the moment, but we walked around the store with it and the leash felt great with the swivel thing after the handle.

also interested in this : http://www.hartmanandrose.com/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=173 because they are locally made/designed in ontario which i would prefer to do. but these are a little more expensive. and something with flair will NOT show up under all her fur hahaha

I'm very disappointed in LBD and I will email her mysefl.

I know I've got lots of links for rolled collars and martingales but I'm just to pooped to find them today.

Haha thats okay like you said I should wait for her to be a bit older . I just like to do research beforr i buy Anything especially if it turns out I need to order online. I think a leather leash will come first. i wish I could find a 6' lead, they all seem to be 4' in store..

I'm going to plug my new find:

Cran has a braided nylon slip leash that I bought at an agility trial a year ago. Just before heading to the Sheltie Nationals, I noticed it was fraying so I planned to purchase a new one at the Nationals but alas, I could only have bought basically the same leash. so when I got home, I started looking here for recommendations and then googling more sites.

This (http://www.dogcollars.net/Merchant2...t_Code=JU_1554&Category_Code=AGILITY_TRAINING) is what I ordered late Thur night and received today.

so they make collars (including martingales), leashes, combos, etc.

I forgot to say that it fits perfectly:wink2:

thats amazing. and shipping isn't ridiculous. i can pay $10 shipping to have a customized collar/leash. what colours did you get? did you find a page with the colours listed? i think i want a martingale for luna because we take her collar on and off so often i don't want to bother with a buckle. her collar is about 10" does that mean i should get a 10" martingale (8"-9.25") or 12" (9.5-11") ??

Colors are here: http://www.dogcollars.net/colors.html

The in-stock martingale-leash combo was in black leather so that is what we ordered.

I will refer you to here (http://www.leashesbydesign.com/Information/Measuring/Measuring.html) for measuring instructions.

I already had a martingale that fit perfectly so I just measured it and picked the closest size to those measurements.
