Leo over acting--Play Dead

Fast forward to 40 seconds... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FtEFq2q0HRY

I'm not sure it counts as playing dead--she does a whole lot of flailing  I think it's so cute that I don't make her hold it, I laugh every time.

Leo's is perfect!

lolll
Lexi is sooooo cuuuuuute
I think I was lucky in that I laid down with him when I started out and rewarded with the left hand while his head was down, and let him have another one if he stayed there with his head on the ground
I am still working on taking to the road so to speak, he's best at home, lol but at other places he is not quite as fast and responsive yet :D

Sophie; I taught it this way:
First being on a down, lure them to a relaxed down so that they are on one hip, reward and repeat at each step... then get them off balance by treat to the rear end that they have to take front paw off ground, stretching to get the treat, reward...
then move treat from hip over and slightly behind their head and when the head comes down reward with the OTHER hand while head is down.
Then no treat just hand, then I shape the rest of the way and wait for him to offer the behaviour and click and reward as required :D
