Lerwick Goes to Myrtle Beach, Meets Hartley!

Michelle, we are really hoping to make the big gathering next year. Mike was out of vacation days this year (we were hoarding the last of them for this Myrtle Beach vacay), so we just couldn't make it work this year. I think that many dogs would have been too much for Lerwick... but he is getting better and better at dealing with groups of dogs, so hopefully by next year he'll be ready! :fl

And Dawn is right... Winston was clearly very taken with Lerwick. It was very cute. Unfortunately, Lerwick's heart belongs to our In-Laws' Golden (apparently Lerwick prefers older women)... who is supremely disinterested in him. Oh, the cruelty of Unrequited Love! :sadsmile:

Thanks again for having us over, Dawn. We had a great time, and next time we're in the area I'll be sure to give you a call!
 
That was a wonderful get together! Beautiful dogs and wonderful people. :)
The pictures were great! Hartley is growing so handsome, Lerwick is adorable and how nice to see Winston (he's such a nice dog!)

Next year, I carve out some time and money to visit Myrtle Beach!
 
That is really neat that you got to meet up with Dawn and Hartley. And the pictures of the three pups are too cool!

Well it would be great to have you here. We have had our share of shy dogs over the last 3 years,and owner saying just as you.But it does'nt take long,and the dogs kinda find thier niche' with play partners & ones that hang out all day together.
Hope to see all of you next year~ In the meantime socialize,socialize..get him in public,even if its to the grocery store,gardening centers etc.
 
I am so glad you got to meet Dawn, she is a very special lady and gosh how Hartley has grown. Would of been such fun to watch that trio of shelties.
 
Yep his brother Spitfire managed to only get caught by two humans but played all day with the dogs. I think Ember spent the day in a photo shoot :lol: though I think she liked Spitfire (for some reason dogs tolerate him more than he deserves)

Spitfire was in as many pix as Ember:winkgrin:
He was surprised when I snagged him:yes: poor pupper- only wanting to play with the other dogs.....
 
How lovely that you met Dawn and Hartley. Seems like you guys had a very lovely vacation and that Lerwick enjoyed the beach!:smile2:

All action shots, the boy does not pose :( I saw him last night and went to grab the phone to get a picture but he got up. It was so funny he was laying on about 5 toys chewing a bone :lol:

Maybe one day he can get to see his brother Lerwick and run free with him :hugs
