Liam back home after surgery

Dogs live in the moment, so as long as he begins to feel well and is home he doesn't care about yesterday. Soon you will forget too. Take care.

As they say, it sometimes is harder on us than them for the very reason you stated! He had his breakfast and is resting now.

Minnie took rymadyl for three days. She's pretty much back to her old self, but not quite. Liam will be fine!

The vet gave me enough for three days. Hopefully, it will be enough for him. So glad to hear Minnie you is doing better after only 1 week!

It is so awful to leave them and you can not be with them.

That is the worst Hanne! When they took him from me and they walked down the hall and I was behind him, he glanced back at me with a frightened look! Broke my heart! I was so very happy to see how alert he was when I picked him up! So happy he is home so I can spoil him!

Glad all went well--any time one of them goes under for any reason I get super concerned! Hopefully he leaves well enough alone and is back to normal quickly.

Me too! So far so good! Not sure why but he tolerated the blue collar very well over the weekend but had a meltdown last night when I put it in so the onesie went on!

I'm happy he's back home and safe! I dread spay/neuter day.

Me too, Jen! I waited 18 months and the closer it came to doing the deed the more nervous I got!

I stayed with both Piper and Finnie...that way I didn't get that look (would've broken my heart too) and was there when they woke up. I have a wonderful vet who doesn't mind having patients family around. They're all so nice where I go...I still remember when I took Piper there for his first vet visit and I was so pissed at the tech who took him from me to show him off. I still feel bad for getting mad at her lol.
But then he was my baby!

It looks like you've had a stressfull 24hrs Gloria, I'm happy to read he's back home safe. It is heart destroying when you have to walk away and leave them. At least he's back now and ready to get a years worth of love in a day haha
