Little Sheltie?

My girls have had the stocky/sturdy look to them, and then they had the thicker coats, so it gave a bulkier appearance. But ringing wet, you could see that it wasn't really girth as much as fluff. Only Savannah is the slight one, she has such small bones and a finer fur quality so far...I think she will fluff up in coming years as the others did. Her lil bum looks bigger, but it isn't, it is just how her fur grows off of it sticking out every which way that gives the appearance of a bertha butt, it makes me laugh, because she really has a smaller hip area. She is just below 16 lbs...so hardly a hefty girl.

Spirit has the same poofy butt hair. I always laugh watching her from behind, knowing she's really only about 3 inches wide :-)

and I always thought that Cruz was on the bigger size- I guess because he reminds me so much of Jocu who is 16.75". he's got the skimpy coat too.
I recently took some pix of the four together on stairs so they are staggered by size. gotta get them on shutterfly.......
