I read this last night and cried. What a tragic end. I hope the cruel idiot who let the dogs out in the first place is found. There is no making sense of people like that.

This is just heartbreaking, and there are far too many of these kinds of stories. One wonders what is wrong with people these days, that this kind of cruelty is tolerated. I'm so sorry for your friend and her little dog. I do hope the police are looking for the perpetrator and that they will be punished severely if they are found.

Awe, poor baby. I was really hoping they would find her safe and sound. But atleast they know what happened to her instead of wondering for year and years about it. Still it's very heartbreaking.

I don't know what to say. Sometimes the lack of humanity in mankind just blows my mind. It's so hard to imagine that people can be so cruel to each other and so cruel to helpless animals.

I've got lots to say on this topic, but won't go there here. Just know that my thoughts and prayers are out there. Everyone, never get complacent! You never know when tragedy is going to hit. Keep your loved ones close! Tell them you love them every day and never go to bed without saying Goodnight!

Oh, dear! Having a moment....!

I'm so sorry to hear of this loss. I know all to well what it's like to lose a dog so in such a horrible way! Please tell her my thoughts are with her as with you too

My heart goes out to Bella's Mom -- such a tragedy. Forgiveness comes hard in times like these.

So sorry to hear about Bella. She is now at the Bridge where she doesn't have to worry about the cruelty of bad people anymore :(

I am so sorry to hear about Bella, the entire drama just sickens me. For someone to do this, its outrageous. The searching, and hoping to find Bella alive, its just heart wrenching, and so sad not to have a happy ending.

Many prayers to Bella's family.
