Thank you, Trini now I'm with, we no not call it Lyme - it was the infection as my vet was talking about when I was down and get Minnie vaccinated.
He told me that it is very "dangerous" and was used extensively down to the border with Germany (we live in the opposite end of Jutland).
Therefore it is important that we treat the dog against ticks.

Hey Kristie -- I am starting to think along the lines of the round of 1 year shots for Cubs. After hearing the story of "Molly" the sheltie and the update that really points to it being some form of "Perfect Storm" of things . . .
I am going to be writing out a schedule for Cubby to get his updates one at a time and not near his HW med, flea/tick med, or neutering IF we do this. I am still torn on the neuter idea. I am in a wait and watch how he develops/behaves and how he performs with scent whole.
I know Lyme can be bad, but I am not sold on the vaccine either.

We have so many ticks here - it warmed up a bit in December and Hanna picked one up in the park ( we didn't get any snow until mid January this year) when I thought we were done with them until spring. She had the vaccine last year and iIwill likely do it again this year, as the Revolution she takes clearly does nothing to deter them.

Why don't these precious little fur kids come with clear, black & white instructions!!!
Even if they did then we would be debating whether the instructions were correct or not!
