Lynn is at the vet

Sending prayers and good thoughts for Lynn. These stomach issues can be so worrisome. Still, it's good that she's lively. Please keep us posted!

Prayers on their way! Hopefully the vets find out what is going on. The scary part is always the unknown. I always say, don't worry til you have something to worry about. Easy to say, so hard to do.

You are not going to beilve this!

Well, right before I went to pick Lynn up the power came on! They did an x ray and it showed that Lynn had three foreing bodies in her belly. The vet told me to come back, and if it has moved we will give her laxitive so it will hopfully pass, and if it hasnt moved then they will go in and get it.

I went the next morning and dropped Lynn off at the vets office. A couple of hours later the vet called me and said "well Amanda, I have good news and I have bad news. The good news it that those three things are well on there way to being passed. The bad news is.... there are at least 8 more!!!!

I have her loads of canned food with mineral oil in it and she passed a load of berries! they are little VERY hard red berries from the trees. They are all over my yard, drive way, and road we walk on. I will be having a hard time keeping her from eating them because she LOVES them.

LOL

she has ate wood, socks, and rocks. Its the tiny berries that stopped her up. They are even slightly toxic and slow down the digestive track! Lynn should be fine.

Good to hear that she will be fine! But you will have quite the time keeping your yard clean!! I guess out comes the rake :confused2:?

Oh my goodness! What kind of berries? Dogwood tree berries?

And little berries won't rake up....maybe a leaf vacuum or the lawnmower with bagging attachment?

Or a muzzle when out walking so she can't eat them anymore.

You've got a job on your hands now! Hope Lynn is all better very soon.

Oh wow! Berries? What a bad doggie! Good luck at keeping her from eating them. That is going to be a job! But atleast she's going to be okay.

So glad that Lynn is going to be fine!! Maybe you could make her a covered run in an area that doesn't get those red berries. Or the mussel is a good idea too. Even one of those metal travelling pens might help. I'm sure you'll figure out something. Just glad Lynn and you are okay!
