Mally's Lair

Beau' private space is the closet in my living room. I know that sounds bad, but, ever since I brought him home he likes laying in the closet. Its' nice and dark and all I see sometimes is the whites of his eyes. Its' all good though, when he's done with alone time he knows he can come poke me in the butt, and I'll give him all the mamma lovin' he can stand.

I'm sure its the same way with Mally
 
Dickens is really odd in that he's the only dog I've ever owned that doesn't need to have shelter when he sleeps. He just plops down wherever he feels comfy, despite the fact that he's got several nice places where there's cover for his head. He reminds me somewhat of my son, who at the age of nearly two would crawl out of his cozy crib, take off every stitch of clothing and sleep on the hard, bare floor.
 
What a cute picture! It's kind of like his own "open air" crate!

Yes, it is like an open air crate. This is an old time end table I have from back in the 70's. So happy I hung on to it, never knowing one day our Mally would claim it as his own special place.
