Massive bruise (formerly ? infection) on Gavin's chest

I hope this thread alerts people to the possibility of bruising... never occurred to me. I went immediately to staph infection!
I am thrilled how quickly this thing is healing. Gavin seems to be behaving pretty normal now, thankfully.
Looking back I can see he might have had some falls leading to bruising before, and I just thought he hurt his back or something.
The carprofen definitely helped him stay comfy at night; I won't use it anymore so I can keep some around for future use.
