May Trick Challenge - RESULTS

I love that Merlin can go forward AND backwards! I can almost see the Queen, nodding in approval (and secretly wanting to do the same with her corgis!)

Thanks for the kind comments! They were really not that delicate - the scratches on my feet over the course of the training can attest to that! :eek2:

LOVED your videos, great instruction, too!! I love clicker training, what great strides dog training has made with simple little things like that :D

You guys inspired me with your videos, even tho I am LATE coming into the challenge, since I just got back from three weeks vacation... I posted my attempt from tonight
My Gosh, I love how dogs are so smart :D

My computer won't load your video  I will have to try again later--but I am glad you are jumping in and trying it, too!

I will have to try to post a video this week. Our dogs still haven't figured it out, but I think I am throwing in the towel. Problem is we have agility trials this past weekend and this weekend, so we've been busy!

agility takes precedence over EVERYTHING, obviously :biggrin2:
I haven't heard anybody else mentioning they can't load video.
Seriously only got to try 6 minutes after I got home last night, I love the idea of the trick challenge, because it gives new ideas of what and how to teach something... You guys all been so busy while I was gone

That's fine - what did I put? My brain has not been functioning all week!

Here is my vid, with the Jubilee weekend beginning I felt I needed some big band marching music:wink2:

Great job!!!!! I loved the video. Cadbury can sure lift his paws real high! And I really enjoyed Merlin's grand finally!

Ok, here's where we are at, at the end of May! (I'm about half a day ahead)

They look so sweet doing the trick! Great choice of music  Romeo seems to be keeping up the beat, it sure looked neat! Juliet looks just so sweet and cautious with her paw lifts. Nicely done!

Now to do my own video with Kyara soon! It has been quite a busy last few weeks.

i have been teaching mine to march as well, but haven't recorded/uploaded yet - i will!

toffee's mom - wow, great work for 6 minutes!! i laughed when he chased after the dropped food at the end. that's how my dog is too, lol.

:rolleyes2: I still haven't figured how to download video from the camera to the computer...the programme which came with the camera didn't work so I'm using a generic one which is fine for stills but none of the videos come off. It's a pity as I can film in slow motion but as I would be filming and 'performing' at the same time, probably it would be some interesting pictures of floor or ceiling

Might have to try and get some stills with the tripod tomorrow.
