Maybe Getting New Puppy Soon

Oh my gosh cuteness galore. Love little Piper following Roxy's lead. I'm curious, how did you end up picking between the two puppies? Was it hard or was it obvious?
Really happy for you.

The breeder picked her for us. They said the other one was too high energy for what it sounded like we wanted.

Roxy has taken to her much faster than I had expected. She met a tiny beagle puppy a short while ago and did not care for her.

She was a little uncertain at first. We met Piper sans Roxy for a while. Then we brought her in. She met the breeders again, Piper, the breeders cats. And she was fine. Not really much more stressed than usual after a car ride. Maybe even better. I made the ginger dog travel cookies i found in the food forum and gave her one before we left. She’s never been better in the car. Maybe it’s been compounded by a bit of car sickness.

Sheltie snob I guess. I mean I don’t blame her- I like shelties better than beagles too.

Congrats. They are adorable together.

Sometimes having one that is "theirs" is different from visiting one. We took Katy on a dog friendly vacation before we picked up Annie and she was stand offish as she had been since Bailey passed. However, when Annie got here there was this super glue bonding that happened. Annie was family. Those other dogs were strangers.

Not a puppy situation but still that idea of pack vs non-pack.
