It was so hard! I knew it would be better for Minnie though, and it would be harder for me to go to work with Minnie here with me, leaving her. The less I can do that at first the better. It was hard to leave all the dogs! I loved all of them! It was so much fun, all seven of them staring at us, lol, that sheltie stare. I loved Keeper, the mom. She looked in my eyes and wouldn't take them off me, we had a great conversation about her puppies! Gorgeous dogs! Walter has the most beautiful coat and expression, he's the one Jody is thinking of showing, she wants a handler for him. And Keeper, the dad is retired from showing and he is a beautiful dog. It's one thing to see his show pic, and quite another to meet him in a natural setting where he is not brushed for show and just hanging around. And the seven adults and the 9 month old Blue were so good with the puppies!! I could go on and on!! Jody was very easy to talk to also, we had a really good feeling about the whole experience!
 
I love puppy breath- puppy teeth not so much. fortunately for my puppy fix, a friend got a puppy in Jan so I have been able to get my puppy love without getting an actual puppy.
Minnie is adorable and yes, when you need to wait, then you wait:yes:

Now I really miss that I didn't see my Minnie when she was so tiny.

It is so nice to read that you had a really good experience with the breeder
and you saw your Minnie's parents :yes:

The wait will be difficult, but so worth it!

I'm no so sure about pups who are around their mommas longer being better adjusted. Rocket is still with Clarabelle- his mom. But then again, his mom is Clarabelle. That's sort of a 50/50 probably. Ok- that isn't fair to her, she was a WONDERFUL momma who loved being a momma.

Yes she is!! The main reason we are waiting is due to my work schedule, Im off for the summer
