Meet Miss Maddy - ADOPTED

People need to do their homework before purchase !

Poor Maddy wouldn't have gone through all this mess. She certainly in the right place now ! She's a doll! I love Blue Merles! I agree with the others She'll find the right forever home now ! Thanks Judy for being there and doing the great job you do. God Bless!:biggrin2:
 
What a poor start to her young life. Hopefully you will be able to find a loving family for her so she will realize there people who will give her the love she deserves.
 
I'm still thinking about her today with my heart aching. I don't know how someone could dump such a beautiful girl, and when she's only a pup. As frustrating as my two girls can be some times, especially during that annoying teenage phase, nothing has EVER made me think of giving them up.

I REALLY wish we weren't so far away, I'd love to adopt her. But its got me looking again at our local rescue.

I feel the same way. Bailey is the worst teenager puppy I've had, but when she comes over and gives me a kiss, all is forgotten.

I know what you mean. Ginny hasn't been too bad yet, but when she is bad, I just look at her and her fuzzy cuteness and can't remember why I was mad. Sadie was absolutely terrible as a teen but I NEVER could have given her up.

I know exactly how you feel!!! LOL I keep looking at her picture and seeing if there any additional information on her. I, too, keep looking at the rescues around my area. Sadly, most are mix and when you do look at their pictures, you are left with scratching your head wondering why or how the dog got label as a sheltie. Another big problem I am running into is the "not for home with kids" or "best to be only dog in house". /sigh Its frustrating!

I do hope whoever get Maddy, will join us here on SheltieNation! I know all of us would just love to watch her grow up. She is going to be a beautiful sheltie when she reach full maturity!

Haha, I know, when Megan is misbehaving and I go to "redirect" her, she gives me Meggie eyes and sometimes I start to giggle. I know, I know that's bad, but there cute even when there being bad :o. Especially when she gives me a little slient "talk back" bark, that just kills me.
 
What a beautiful girl. My stepmom is looking at getting some new dogs out at her ranch here when her border collies are gone. They are both old, one blind, on with arthritis. I think I will direct her to a sheltie rescue center. I don't think there is any in my area, but maybe Washington or Idaho.
