Meet Miss Maddy - ADOPTED

i want her to find her forever home real soon as well so i am not tempted to drive 18 hours to Florida.
she is sooo gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i would have one condition for whoever adopts Maddy.. That would be that they have to join the forum and keep us updated on her ( and more pics).

(i dont think thats tooo much to ask):biggrin2:

I completely agree. This should be written into the adoption contract!

I'm going to revise this (seeing as Maddy has been grabbed up) - good luck to her new parents!! I've still got the "a rescue wouldn't be a bad addition" fever, though. We shall see!

what a beautiful, beautiful dog!!!

we recently got our sheltie mix bambi from the shelter. the person who had her before us had her for 9 months gave her up because they said she also was too hyper and jumped and nipped. we had her for 2 weeks and had her trained to sit, shake, fetch, not nip, ride in the car and as far as being hyper she will lay down on the couch with us for an hour while we watch tv. this is an amazing good dog that only needed someone to properly train her. people need to realize dogs like children do not come already trained, they someone to lovingly train them. we had fostered her and formally adopted her yesterday. the humane soceity people were shocked when they saw her. when we orginally took her she was thin, scrawny and jumped all over the place. now the month we had her here she is filled out, her fur is thick and glows and sat next to us when we filled out her paperwork.

Wonderful story! Congrats on formally adopting her!

What rescue is this dog with?

She is absolutely gorgeous. My husband and I are still looking for the perfect Sheltie to add to our family. I'd like one under 14" and young and healthy enough to compete in agility.

Do you think this girl fits the bill? Where is she located/what rescue is she with?

Sunchaser stated in another thread that she's been adopted.
