Meet Tyrone!

I have been feeding him Purina Pro Plan Puppy Chow chicken and rice, 3 times a day, 1/3 cup each feeding. He usually finishes this and looks for more, so I've been increasing it to about 1/2 cup 3 times a day. Does this seem like the right amount for a 10 week old puppy who weighs about 9 pounds?

Hey! We’re getting our puppy on Friday (he is a blue Merle too!) I was just curious though, what issues did you have with grain free food? It was recommended to me to buy grain free so now I am second guessing that lord it really feels like having a new baby (at least I don’t have to breast feed this time )

Last year the FDA issued a warning about grain free dog food. According to a study they did, grain free dog food was possibly linked to a heart condition in dogs called "dilated cardiomyopathy, or DCM". There were a lot of articles about it at the time. I just didn't want to take the chance, particularly with a puppy. I've been feeding Tyrone Purina Pro Plan puppy food. Congratulations on the new puppy!! Please post some pictures when you get him/her.

OH GOSH. ‍♀️ I’ll talk to my vet and the lady helping me with training and see what they recommend.
